Clothes Collection: The Parents’ Association will be running another clothes collection after the mid term. Please spread the word to family members and/or Community members who may be looking for somewhere to donate their pre-loved clothes etc. Bags can be dropped into the school lobby area from 9.10am to 3pm daily from November 4th to 15th.
Halloween Raffle: Well done to the many winners in the annual halloween raffle kindly organised by the Parents’ Association. There was a huge selection of prizes. The raffle raised €229 which will go towards the cost of the Accelerated Reading Programme (costs the school approx. €1000 per year). Thanks to our Parents’ Association, Margaret Ahern, Eleanor Llerena and Marguerite Reynolds for their continued hard work and support as officers on the PA.
Homemade Costume draw: Well done to Ava Jones, Lily Dennehy and Shauna Sheahan who were the lucky winners in the draw for the homemade costume.
Credit Union Art Competition: Well done to all the children who entered the competition – a special mention to Darragh Hayes in First class who came second overall in his age category! Well done Darragh!
Food Dudes: The Food Dudes programme (promoting fruit and vegetables) will run next term – Ms. Fitzgerald’s classroom will start the full programme on Nov. 5th – an information letter will go home with your child on the 4th. The other classrooms will participate in a reduced programme later in the month. More details will following advance of the programme.
