  • School Tours We are delighted to be able to take the children on a school tour this year. More information to follow in a note. Please see dates below:

  • Clothes Collection– The Parents’ Association are organising a clothes collection – date: 11th June, Time: 11am to 1pm, Venue: Lismire GAA Hall. We would greatly appreciate your support for this fundraiser. Thanks to the Parents’ Association for all the time and organinsing that goes into all the fundraising events. It is very much appreciated.

  • End of Year School Reports : If you would like your report posted, please send in a stamped addressed envelope before 15th June. Otherwise, your child’s report will go home in a sealed envelop with your child on Wed. 15th June. Please make an appointment as soon as possible with your child’s teacher should you wish to discuss the report.

  • Sports Day on Friday 17th June

Children are to bring their school bags to school in case it has to be rescheduled.

The sports etc. will take place outdoors (weather permitting).

We ask parents, if they deem it necessary, to apply sun cream before the children come to school. The children must wear their school t-shirts and can wear shorts. If possible, each child should bring a hat/cap for outdoors (weather permitting) to protect them from the sun. Children are to wear runners (no sandals please).

  • James O’ Connell Memorial Blitz (for children in Ms. Buckley) –Thursday 16th June at 2.15pm. The children in 4th, 5th & 6th classes will play a fun football blitz in the pitch (weather permitting). Spectators welcome!!

  • Playground Markings: ‘Cork Sports Partnership’ currently have a scheme running where they will facilitate playground markings for schools for free! We have an application submitted and are awaiting further information. We hope to have the playground markings completed as soon as possible.

  • Picnic Benches: We have purchased 4 picnic benches made from recycled plastic. We look forward to making use out of these for some outdoor learning in warm days.

  • School will close for a half day on Wednesday 22nd June for Summer holidays.
