Concern about your child
Should you have any concern about your child or any aspect of your child’s school life, we would encourage you to ‘nip it in the bud’ and contact your child’s class teacher, at the earliest possible stage. An appointment can be made through Elle, to meet (or speak over the phone) with the class teacher.
Please note an overview of the CPSMA(Governing body)/INTO agreed procedure:
If a parent has a concern, the following steps can be followed
- Contact the child’s class teacher, with your concern.
- Where the parent/guardian is unable to resolve the matter with the class teacher she/he should contact the Principal with a view to resolving it.
- If the complaint is still unresolved the parent/guardian should raise the matter with the Chairperson of the Board of Management with a view to resolving it.
- The Principal will advise you of further steps to be taken should you not resolve your concerns.
Please contact Elle, the school secretary if you have any queries (Elle’s usual working hours are 10am – 2pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
Many thanks,
